Furious Tribe Help O2 Roll Out Mobile Rewards Program


Furious Tribe was charged with the creation of a new mobile App experience that delivered rewards to O2 customers via the mobile platform. The project's aim was to to increase the level at which users engaged with the O2 brand. The primary aim was to get customers to increase their interaction levels and to redeem more offers. We worked closely with our friends at ICAP Media who manage the rewards program to deliver a better mobile user experience.

We first got to work by interviewing prospective users of the mobile experience and then by creating personas to represent each type of user that we would have to cater for. We completed task and scenario analysis to ensure that the most important proposed features could be accessed easily within the information architecture that was proposed.

We created extensive wire-frames for each screen of the mobile experience and then moved on to developing full scale interactive prototypes to simulate the user experience. Once the project architecture had been decided, we presented a number of graphical user interfaces for review and consideration by the client.

We then moved through a number of design refinements, working closely with O2 to achieve a look and feel that was appropriate to the App and fit well within O2's established identity

Once the experience was finalised, the development team converted the experience into xcode. As development work came to an end, we tested, tested and tested some more to ensure a smooth interaction for the user before launching on the App store.
